Mission Statement: The Magic Volleyball Club exist to provide Central Texas Youth with the opportunity to compete at the highest level. We hope to provide players with the understanding of competitive volleyball, and
the importance of fair play. Our program will stress the importance of discipline, self motivation, self-esteem, and excellence on and off the court. Magic Volleyball is dedicated to developing each player's technical skills, tactical
skills, and leadership skills. We feel these skills are necessary for our players to grow athletically, academically, and personally.
- How long does the season last?
- The season will begin in November and last until the end of April.
- How many days a week will each team practice?
- Local and Regional teams will practice 2 times per week. Sunday afternoon and one other day of the week. Travel teams will practice 3 times per week.
- Where will practices be held?
- We use Henry Middle School, Wiley Middle School, and
Westview Middle School in Pflugerville, . Locations for each team will be decided and posted at a later date.
- How many tournaments will be played?
- The Local Teams will participate in approximately 8 tournaments. The Regional Teams will participate in approximately 9 tournaments including the Lonestar Classic. The Travel Teams will participate in 10 tournaments including
1 Out of State Qualifier.
- How far will they travel?
- Local Teams (This is for the 12's and 13's age group
only)- will participate in 8 tournaments primarily in the Austin and surrounding area including Pflugerville, Dripping Springs, San Marcos and 1 or 2 tournaments in San Antonio. Travel and Hotel expenses are not included
in the fees.
- Regional Teams (14s,15s, and 16s)-
will play 9 tournaments. Half will be in the Austin area and 4 tournaments will be split between San Antonio and Houston. Travel and Hotel expenses are not included in the fees. This is for teams 14 and older.
Regional teams will participate in the Lone Star
Classic.

- Travel Teams
(17s and 18s)-will play 10 tournaments. They will have the most competitive schedule and will participate in The Tour of Texas, Lone Star Classic as well as one Out of the State Qualifier. Airfare and meals are not included in
the fees. Hotel expenses for the Out of State Qualifier
are included in the fees.

- What do the fees cover?
- The cost included USVA registration, scorekeeping and referee clinics, tournament
fees, training fees, facility rentals, administrative fees, equipment, and Uniforms. Fees do not cover travel expenses such as Van Rentals,
Airfare, or Hotels.
- Are fees refundable?
- No. In the event that a player cannot complete the season due to injury, illness, disciplinary reasons, or their own will, the fees are nonrefundable and due immediately!!

Because the teams are
budgeted for a certain number of players, if a
player quits a team, they will remain responsible
for the full season cost up until the balance is
paid in full. Players may not play for any
other club or team until all financial requirements
have been met with the previous club. This is USAV
policy and players are listed “not in good
standing” with USAV until paid in full. Magic
Volleyball Club also maintains a contract that is
legally binding between the club and the
participants
